I always find empty, unsued churches so sad...

I was in Amsterdam last summer, and on one side of a narrow alley was a huge cathedral, on the other, a long row of "red light" windows. It was so surreal. "At least there's still the presence of the church in the midst of all this," I thought.

When I got around to the door of the church and went it, I found it was empty. It's now used for art exhibitions. It made me so sad...

Yours is a beautiful picture. I love the simplicity of it.

Literally breaks my heart. My husband and I have been in ministry pastoring small churhes, and this happens all to often.
Thanks for the reminder that we just keep on going, and continue to be faithful.

The photo says it better than I can.
